At the age of 6 I lost a very important part of me... MY FATHER... I can remember each day that I spent with him as if it were yesterday. I was and still am a "DADDYS' GIRL"....My daddys' nickname was "Froggy" so my way of keeping his memory alive is to collect ANYTHING with frogs on it (stuffed animals, jewelry, clothing, anything). He is VERY MUCH with me guiding me daily ....At the age of 27 I lost who I felt was the only person that could keep me connected to my father......My GRANDFATHER. Before he passed he taught me things that no-one else could ever teach me. He gave me talks that were so insightful that I STILL apply them to my life today......At the age of 34 I lost another very important part of me.... MY VERY BEST FRIEND (my little brother) to gun violence. Inside I was completely BROKEN however on the outside I always had to show strength and find something positive out of his death. I made a vow to make him proud of his big sis and I will not stop until I feel I have succeeded in doing so. My ultimate goal in life is to help others to ALWAYS be able to find the positive in negative situations and with God leading me I am sure I will be very successful in doing that.
